Joey Accaoui is a Lebanese-American basketball player born in Lincoln, RI. He is currently playing with Sagesse in the Lebanese Basketball League. Joey was a member of University of Vermont[1] in the NCAA division I. He stands at 5feet 8inches and plays as a Point Guard.
Accaoui previously attended St. Andrew High School. He led them to a pair of New England Championships as he scored more than 1,600 career points and had his number retired . Accaoui was a two-time team captain who earned team MVP honors as a senior. He also was selected to the all-state team twice and was a McDonald’s All-American nominee.

His college coach was quoted: “Joey is going to have a great senior year. He has improved each season and has continued to work hard this past offseason. He is a great shooter who makes big shots and is one of the most experienced players on our roster, so we will rely on him to be one of the team leaders.”
After graduating from his college, Joey decided to return to his native country Lebanon and he signed with the Lebanese power houses Sagesse.
